Over the past 7 weeks I have been learning to describe the characteristics of music from songs of a different time and place

I can describe these characteristics in a piece of music… (list them below and explain what they are)

Timbre    . A special sound that makes each voice or instrument different
Rhythm    .Repeated sounds that can change speed through the song.
Happy song
Sad song
Melody   .A series of single notes that are played repetitively

Form      .The music plan. How the song is put together.

Harmony     .Multiple notes that are played together all at once.
